Professor John E. Gruzleski

Professor Gruzleski earned his Ph.D. degree in Metallurgy at the University of Torrent in 1967. He is renowned for his achievement in research on intermetalics formation in aluminum casting alloys. Professor Gruzleski is the associate editor of Canadian Metallurgical Quarterly, a highly accredited journal. He is also the author of more than 150 academic publications and presentations.

Research Interests:

Casting and solidification of aluminum alloys, formation of intermetalics in foundry alloys, prosity control in cast metals, measurement and control of dissolved gas in molten metals.
