Mr. Hale earned his MBA degree with Magna Cum Laude honors from Ohio University in 1989. He received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Western Washington University. Mr. Hale is an operations-oriented executive with 20 plus years of broad and progressive plant and business management experience. His exceptional leadership skills combined with his technical and operational abilities have led to numerous achievements in the aluminum industry. Mr. Hale has made fundamental contributions in the area of primary aluminum plant management. He is chairman of the Light Metal Division of TMS. Mr.Hale is the speaker and course organizer of Aluminum Electrolysis, a highly popular educational course on smelting. In addition, he has authored three publications and several presentations.
