Professor Zhuxian Qiu

Professor Qiu earned his B.S. degree in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering from Chaotung University (China) in 1943. He has also been working in the aluminum industry for 12 years. Professor Qiu has been honored for his contributions in the advancement of aluminum technology. He is the author of more than 180 publications and presentations and 7 textbooks.

  First Prize for the Best Paper Award, Chinese Government, 1992

  Member of Norwegian Academy of Sciences and Letters

  Member of Chinese Academy of Engineering

 

Research Interests:

Electrochemistry of molten aluminum, aluminum electrolysis, Magnesium electrolysis, electroplating of aluminum.
